"...Let the people laugh at you, call you names and say you're through. Never let go, keep hangin on..." - Michael W. Smith
Ok, lately, I've been knda felt put down about things people say about my choice to publicly let it be known that: Yes, I love God and would like to follow in his ways and become a better person... I won't name names, but the words and sayings in the background have actually been spoken to me and have hurt my feelings or mad me upset. Is it really so bad to be a firm believer? I mean, I'm happier and stronger because of it! Though I'm looked at as if I'm psychotic? wth? ...Oh well though, Imma keep on going, Imma keep on growing in Christ and I know I'll have no regrets! I mean, I think this is one of my best yet! All cause of HIS abilities given to me so I could do this.. and show my feelings for Him, to praise him... Think me psycho if you want.. or over doing it (which honestly, I'm not)... like i said, imma keep going
Complete lyrics to song by MWS "Hang On":
Let the tempest & the flood
Shake your soul & spill your blood
Like an old song
Keep holdin on
Let the people laugh at you
Call you names & say you're through
Never let go
Keep hangin on
(I said) Hang on, hang on
Can you hear me,
I'm gonna say it again
Hang on, Hang on
Never giving up, no, never giving in
Hang on every hopeful word
Even when it seems absurd
Keep holdin on
If you triumph when you fail
Keep your head when you prevail
Be a hero
Keep hangin around
Hang on, hang on
Are you listening,
Lemme say it again
(I said) Hang on, hang on
Never giving up, no, never giving in
BUT, nonetheless, this pic makes me respect you quite a bit. I'm glad to hear that you're holding on to your faith even in the face of closed minded bigots.
